Yay, it’s Saturday! And, that means it’s time for A Few of My Favorite Things #4. This week’s collection is, let’s say, eclectic! A little bit of this and a little bit of that! First up is another of my very favorite bloggers of all time and one of the best story tellers ever! If you don’t know Karianne of Thistlewood Farms, it’s time to get to know her and her beautiful Kentucky farmhouse. This story from her will bring you a smile and maybe a tear! You don’t want to miss it!
Next up is a post from the “Queen of Creativity” – Bliss of Bliss Ranch! Really, this lady creates the most amazing things – like this old radio she turned into a bar for her son! She has another old radio that she is turning into something sweet for her granddaughter – you’ll want to click the link to see what it is!
Next up is a post from Yvonne at Stone Gable. A ten minute decorating idea for Easter and there are also links to other blogs with their 10 minute Easter Decorating Ideas. Lots of Easter inspiration to be found in this post!
Who doesn’t love mason jars! Ann from On Sutton Place shares the complete guide to mason jars with links from some other bloggers with their mason jar projects! Do you have some old mason jars around your home? I wrote a post a while back titled “How Old is Your Mason Jar”. You can read about that HERE .
Next is a post from Melissa of The Inspired Room. Mellissa has a book titled “Love the Home you Have” that I highly recommend! On her blog she is having a month long “Love Your Home Challenge” with weekly “bite sized challenges to help you transform small spaces in your home”. I’m taking the challenge – how about you?
And, lastly – I couldn’t help sharing this fun Easter idea for kids that I found on Pinterest! I may actually do this with my adult kiddos – why not, I still make them Easter baskets and have egg hunts for them! I’ll probably use colors that would look good in their spaces – it may end up being a fun piece of art or just a fun memory of Easter. Whatever, I know they’ll have fun throwing paint filled eggs at a canvas (and hopefully not at each other)!
I’ve been busy pinning loads of Easter ideas on Pinterest! If you don’t follow me there, here’s a link to my Easter Board! I hope you’ll follow along!
Thanks for stopping by today and checking out some of these amazing posts from week #4 of my Favorite Things. Tomorrow, I’ll be back to share a fun terrarium project! I hope to see you then!
