It’s Saturday – so that means it’s time for A Few of My Favorite Things #5. Here are some of the posts that inspired me this week! I hope they inspire you!
First up is this gorgeous spring tablescape by Liz Marie of Liz Marie Blog! Liz Marie is a “must follow” if you love farmhouse or cottage style! Always inspiring!
Are you like me and need to get those cabinets and closets organized? Abby of Just a Girl and Her Blog has so many organizing ideas on her site and this one on how to get organized without spending a lot of money, hit a chord with me! Some organizing posts show perfect baskets and specialty containers that cost money and who wants to spend a lot of money on organization when you can spend it on home decor – not me! So I love these practical ideas that she shared!
If you are looking for decor inspiration – look no further than The Hunted Interior. Kristin shares the latest color and style decor trends on her blog with gorgeous images that always inspire! This post about the color combination of pink and green, inspired by the Kate Spade new home line, jumped off the page at me! I love it and already had plans on using this color combo in some of my spring decor!
I know many of my readers follow Yvonne over at StoneGable! I call her the Martha Stewart of Lancaster County! She does it all with panache! She pulled together some of her best spring recipes and made a mini spring cookbook! With Easter just around the corner, you’ll want to check out these recipes!
Last, but certainly not the least, is this project by Cami at Tidbits that she posted on the Craftberry Bush blog. Cami includes 10 printable patterns to make your own antique-style cutting boards from old wood! Seriously – I think this has moved up to the top of my “to do” list! I’m thinking about mini bread boards for my spring table! I’ve included links to both Craftberry Bush and Tidbits because both blogs are favorites of mine!
I hope you’ve enjoyed A Few of My Favorite Things #5. Weekends are busy, but I like to use my weekend evenings to unwind and catch up on my blog reading – so I hope you’ll do the same and check out some of these amazing posts and projects!
Hope you have a sunshine filled Saturday! I’ll be back tomorrow with an easy “do now” project to be ready in time for Easter!
