Happy weekend everyone! Can you even believe this weather (well, at least here in Pennsylvania)! We had 70 degrees on Christmas day and today, April 9, it’s snowing! Seriously! We are to have record low temperature tonight of 22 degrees! We planted a small dogwood last year and it made it through the winter and is full of buds – so it’s going to be a dogwood tree sheet ghost tonight to save it from the frost! I don’t even care what my neighbors think!!! I may be draw a face on it for fun!!! Anyway, back to business, it’s time to share this weeks edition of A Few of My Favorite Things #6. It’s so fun for me to share these with you. I like to give you a variety of topics from some of my favorite bloggers each week. So, let’s get started.
First up, are these pretty watercolor notecards and envelopes from Jennifer Rizzo. Jen is a super talented artist, but she freely shares her creativity with us in small projects that are doable! I love watercolor and her step-by-step of this project has inspired me to get out my unopened watercolor set and give it a try!
God has given us all amazing gifts and Vanessa from At the Picket Fence is a truly gifted writer. She shares her heart with her readers and her posts always strike a chord with me! This week she shared a series on The Peace Filled Home that you don’t want to miss!
Shannon from Fox Hollow Cottage is a west coast blogger that I wish lived next door! She’s a girl after my own heart and love her cottage style home! This week she shared her Spring Cottage Kitchen Tour and there were too many things that I loved to count! But, what had me drooling was this gorgeous vignette featuring a vintage scale! LOVE!!!
Recently, a group of bloggers were invited to tour the HGTV dream home in Florida. Courtney from French Country Cottage shares the event with us with behind the scenes photos and of course, gorgeous interior shots of the dream home on Merritt Island.
And, lastly, you know I have three sons – who are all in their 20’s. So, I really loved seeing this round-up post on masculine decor from Kate at Censational Girl. If you have any young men in your life – they will love the spaces she featured!
Centsational Girl – For the Single Man
Thanks for stopping in today to see some of my weekly favorites! This coming week, I’ll be sharing posts on indoor plants and flowers! Gotta get some springtime inside, even if it’s snowing in April!!! Hope the sun is shining where you live! Happy weekend!
