Yay – it’s Friday! I know I’m ready for the weekend – how about you? But, I did want to take a quick moment to share my old door message center all dressed up for fall.
I made a wheat wreath by first cutting off the long stems of the wheat so the stem was about four inches in length. Once the stems were all cut, I began gathering together small bunches of wheat and wrapped the shortened stems with gold florist wire. I used the gold wire because it is less noticeable with the golden wheat. Once I had a bunch of bunches (ha, ha) I wired those together to form a wheat rope and then when I had the size I wanted, I wired the ends together.
I used fabric to make the bow using the tutorial for how to make a perfect bow shared by Ann of On Sutton Place. The bow is made with fabric, but I promise it is No Sew! If you’d like to see how to make the perfect bow – click HERE.
Thanks for stopping by today before you start your weekend! Hope you have a good one!
