Hi, Friends. Hope your weekend is off to a great start! I had planned on sharing my review of the faux fiddle leaf fig tree yesterday, but alas, time got away from me. I was super busy filling Etsy orders. I’ve been struggling some time balancing the Etsy shop and the blog. With my busiest time of year, for both, I’ve decided I just can’t keep it up. So, I’m taking a break from the shop, at least until the end of November. By then, most of my holiday decor will be finished and I may be able to take on some last minute Christmas orders. But, for today, I did want to share a few of my favorite things!
Please pin from the original blog and not this post! That way, the credit goes to the person behind these features!
First is this gorgeous fall bedroom from one of my all time favorite bloggers, Kim at Savvy Southern Style. I pinned this on Pinterest and when I looked at the blog post, I couldn’t believe it was from last year! I somehow missed this last October! But, Kim’s classic French country farmhouse style doesn’t fade with time! Kim has a fondness for cow art and so do I! And, the planked wall behind the bed is another example of wood-look wallpaper! The whole room is stunning! Stop by her blog to see all the details of this gorgeous bedroom!
Next up, is a blogger friend whose photography skills have me in awe! Just look at this gorgeous photo from Cami of Tidbits blog. Isn’t it dreamy! In this post she shares some ideas for bringing those colorful fall leaves and branches into your home decor!
And, Cami and her sister, Marci, recently published their first cookbook – Master the Electric Pressure Cooker: More than 100 Delicious Recipes from Breakfast to Dessert. This would be a great Christmas gift for you or someone who loves to cook! Have you seen the new pressure cookers and what they can do? If not, you’ve got to check them out and Cami and Marci are the experts. You can read more about their book and electric pressure cooking HERE. I’m putting a new pressure cooker on my Christmas list along with the book! Hint, hint to Santa if you are reading this!
Here’s a FREE fall printable from another blogging friend, Jamie at So Much Better With Age! Don’t you love her blog name! If you don’t follow Jamie, you should be! Her French country style is gorgeous! Stop by her blog to download this pretty fall printable and there are 25 more free printables from other blogs on that same post! There you can find instant artwork to pretty up a space for Thanksgiving and they are all FREE!
And, finally, I’ll sneak in a recipe that is a favorite here in Pennsylvania this time of year – apple dumplings! I’m making some of these today and they are so easy! They are a taste of fall! Get the recipe HERE.
Have you joined me in my new Hymns and Verses – Behind the Scenes Facebook group? If not, you can join me there today by clicking HERE. There are a group of us there that will be doing an Advent Bible study together later in November. I’d love for you to join us! Just request to join the group and look for the post about the Advent Bible study. The study books are selling out quickly, so if interested, you can get your copy HERE.
That’s all for today! Have a great rest of your weekend!
