I usually don’t post on a Sunday, but I wanted to pop in to share a bit about the Advent Bible study that we will be doing in the private Hymns & Verses Behind the Scents facebook group. The book that I chose, O Come Let us Adore Him – A Study for Advent, sold out so quickly and some of you didn’t have a chance to get one. Because so many people missed out on getting the Advent study book, The Daily Grace is offering a FREE companion study guide that can be used in addition to the Advent study book or it can also be used on its own.
All you have to do to get a copy of this printable study guide is subscribe to The Daily Grace newsletter and they will send you the printable guide to your email. You can print the guide at home on your home printer or take the file to a copy center and they can print it for you. You could even have the copy center attach a spring ring binder – like shown in the above image. I think this is a great option for those of you who weren’t able to get the study book, but would still like to join the study.
Now, a bit about how the Advent Bible study will work. The study is 25 days long, and we will begin on December 1. Each Sunday in December – December 3, 10, 17, and 24; those participating in the study should come to the Hymns & Verses Behind the Scenes Facebook group at 8 p.m. EST, where we will discuss the content we’ve covered so far. This is totally optional, but I’ll be there in the group for anyone who wants to join in some discussion. If that doesn’t work out for your schedule, I totally understand. December is just sooooo busy with a lot of commitments. But, if you are free at that time, stop by the FB group for some brief discussion. Also, please share as you wish in that group! It’s for all of us to connect and you don’t have to wait for me! I check in periodically throughout the day, but would love to see more interaction there! If you have a great recipe – share it! Did you do something fun that you think the group would like to try – share it! Great movie to see – share it! I think you get the idea!
Advent – the coming or arrival, especially of something extremely important.
Let me know if you have any further questions! I’m really looking forward to this Advent study – I hope you are too! And – today’s the last day to claim the FREE Mrs. Myer’s Holiday Set – Click the Image Below! To get all the details – click HERE.
