Valentine’s Day DIY Button Heart

January 22, 2021 by Hymns and Verses 2 Comments

This Valentine’s Day DIY button heart is the perfect project for a lazy winter weekend!

I made this button heart a few years ago, but I still like to use it in my decor!   And, even though I made it specifically for Valentine’s Day, it could be used all year long!   If you don’t have a stash of buttons, you can always purchase an assortment of 100 buttons on Amazon!  This little Valentine’s Day DIY project is so sweet and is one that won’t take much time and really, anyone could do this!

I’m sharing this little Valentine’s Day DIY for this week’s Home and Decor Encore!  And, there are more great decor ideas and projects shared by my friends!  Lori from The Stonybrook House is sharing how to transform a pantry with wire shelving with custom built shelves!  This is such an easy build once you know how to do it and Lori is great about showing the details!  We’ve updated most of our wire closet shelving with custom shelves using this method!  So, check it out!  The other DIY builder in our group, Cristina from RemodelaCasa, is showing us how she built a tray divider for the cabinet above the refrigerator!  Laura from Duke Manor Farm is sharing how she refreshed her 15 year old wood floors for $20!  And, Christy from Our Southern Home has some great ideas for using urns found at the thrift store!

To visit each post, just click on the bold title above the photo!  And, be sure to PIN from each individual blog post!

I am so glad that you reminded me of your darling button heart. I made one for each of my girls. I used buttons from their grandmother’s button tin and backed it with a piece of lace from their great grandmother’s table cloth. (It had holes in it and was unusable, so I have used it in different projects like lining the shelves of my armoire that has my good china.)
    Peace
