Mason Jar Gift for the New Mom

Tis the season for gift giving!  I know I’m always looking for clever gift ideas this time of year.  If you’re like me, today’s post is for you!  I’ve teamed up with 29 other bloggers to share mason jar gifts.  Why waste money on gift wrap and bows – a mason jar is instant packaging and useful at the same time!  At the end of the post there’s also a great giveaway you don’t want to miss!

I chose to make a gift jar for the Mom-to-Be because my friend Cindy’s daughter, Kelsey,  is having her first baby – really any day now!!!  I’m so excited for Kelsey to be a mom and for Cindy to be a grandma (although we’re not using the “G” word because she’s way to young and hip for that!!)    Here’s a picture of the gorgeous Mom-to-Be.

The things in this jar are for the brand new Mom and would be perfect to give as a shower gift for the Mom-to-Be!  Here’s what I put into the mason jar for Kelsey – (Kelsey is having a baby girl – so I chose lots of pink colors).

I created a cute chalkboard label for the jar.  I made one with a pink banner and one with a blue banner.  The labels can be downloaded to your computer and printed on label paper.  Then, just cut it out and apply to your mason jar and your gift is ready to give!
