Today I have a yummy quick bread recipe that is just perfect for these cold and blustery winter days with a cup of coffee or tea. This recipe was given to me by my mother-in-law at my bridal shower (my family had asked each person coming to bring a special recipe for me). Mark and I got married very young – we were both 20. We didn’t have a lot of money, especially at Christmas time. So, to have a gift for coworkers, neighbors, and grandparents; I made this cinnamon quick bread and wrapped it in a pretty package.
I don't see an icon to pin this……
Susan,
The pin it button will appear when you hover your mouse over the image. It should appear on any mobile device as well.
Doreen
It's not working for me! Will you be pinning it to your board?
Me either.
Hover over actual recipe and not other pictures an it works.
Actually, after I posted my comment, all pictures had the option. Not until though. Strange.
Is that plain flour or self-rising in the recipe? I can't wait to make this. It looks delicious!
It's plain flour!
Thanks for the quick reply! I was able to make it last night and it was delicious and so easy to stir together. I gave my neighbor a loaf and she loved it too.
Oh Double YUM. That looks Wonderful and such an easy recipe besides.
Ms Doreen; I agree with your family; there is nothing better than receiving a homemade gift made with a whole lot of lovin. I prefer something homemade than store bought item any day.
Thank U 4 the recipe as well as the printable tag.
For the shortening in your recipe; would that be like solid Crisco shortening? ( I want to make this yet today)
Have a wonderful and enjoyable day
Still didn't work, but I went to Pinterest and it's pinned under her blog.
