Today, I’m so excited to be taking part in a Fall Porch Blog Hop hosted by Taryn Whiteaker!  If you are looking for fall inspiration – you are sure to find it in this collection of fall porches!  Be sure to check the bottom of this post for the links to all the porches shared today!  If you are stopping by from April’s, House by Hoff, welcome!

The calendar may not say it’s officially fall yet, but it sure feels like it here in Pennsylvania!  There’s a crispness in the air, the mums are blooming, and there are pumpkins at every local farm stand!   And, I’ve been doing my share to support the local farmers at the markets!   I’ve filled my trunk with pumpkins, gourds, corn shocks, and mums for my fall porches!  Last week I shared my fall front porch and today I’m excited to share my fall screen porch.

The focal point on the porch is a large sign I painted  –  Autumn .  .  .  a time to gather together.   We screwed in some eye hooks at the top of the sign and used jute rope to hang it from the rafters of the porch.

I’m selling a slightly smaller version of this sign in my Etsy shop.  You can see it HERE if you are interested.

All of the pumpkins on the porch are real, except this large one.  It’s just a plastic pumpkin from Walmart that I painted with white chalk paint.  I was worried last week that I wouldn’t be able to find a large enough white pumpkin for this spot.  Even though it’s faux, I like that the stem looks a little more realistic.  It looks even better surrounded with real oak leaves.

I just love the mini Baby Boo pumpkins!   They are so versatile because of their small size!

I wanted some real leaves for the porch, but most of the leaves haven’t changed to their beautiful fall colors yet.  But, Mark and I went to his parent’s house and trimmed some branches from their huge oak trees.  The leaves are still green, but tipped with some golden brown.

The branches were pretty high off the ground, so Mark had to jump and grab hold of the lowest part and pull it down to trim off some smaller branches.  And, he may have broken off a pretty large branch doing that – yikes!  It just snapped off!   His parents didn’t care, and we brought the entire large branch home with us.  Now, I have lots of these oak leaves and teeny, tiny acorns!

I filled a basket full of knit throws and this sweet “cuddle up” pillow!  I put it on the porch swing for those cool fall evenings.

I would say my porch gets the most use during the fall season.  The summers here tend to be hot and humid and our family honestly prefers to stay inside when it’s like that!  But, with the cooler fall temps, we spend more time outdoors.  It’s really dreamy with the candles and hanging lights on in the evening.

I’m so glad you stopped by today to see my Fall screen porch!  I hope you were inspired to decorate your fall porch!

Beautiful ideas! Love those small pumkins, wherever arranged, they look exactly on place and match perfectly to most decorating styles. I often arrange them with dried flowers, mostly hydrangeas. Thanks for sharing!
