Today, I have one more outdoor fall vignette to share with you. I think I went overboard buying pumpkins at the farm stands this fall! With the new heirloom varieties, it was hard to resist picking up just one more (and then, one more)! Since my vintage bicycle was still outside from the summer, I decided to add a few fall pumpkins to the wire bicycle basket. My sister’s vintage Schwinn bicycle from the 1960’s gets a lot of use in my outdoor decor – spring, summer & fall this year as well!
When I finished, I stepped back to take a look! The whole thing just made me smile! From all the fall pumpkins to the green and white Hosta leaves, crunchy leaves on the ground, and a small hint of bright pink Lady’s Slipper on the bottom right.
Thanks for stopping by today! I’d love to hear how you decorate outdoors for fall or Halloween! For more Fall inspiration, see my “All Things Fall Post” with links to all of my fall projects including – DIY’s, Home Tours, Wreaths, Recipes, and more!

Hi, Doreen! I just came across this post from almost 4 years ago and I love the vignette you created with the bicycle and pumpkins. But something that caught my eye was what you called branches from your bridal veil shrub. When I googled that, it came up with a type of spirea. Is that what this is or something else? I live in York so I live in the same growing zone and so many of the plants you show in your posts are so lovely. I recently planted Solomon’s Seal because it looked so pretty in your indoor flower arrangements. I would love to see your garden, maybe you can blog about that soon😊
Thanks for all the inspiring posts and pictures!
Happy Fall!
