Garden Potting Bench

I’m here today to share something that I no longer own – sigh.  Do you ever get rid of something only to regret it later?  That’s what happened with my garden potting bench that I sold because I thought I was ready for something new.  But, I haven’t really found anything I like to replace it.  And, I really miss this handy piece.

A potting bench is obviously used as a place to “pot your plants”.  But, I also used mine as a serving station when we had summertime picnics.  It was just the right size to hold a drink dispenser and a galvanized tub filled with ice and bottled drinks.  I’ve looked for a replacement, but just haven’t found something that has caught my eye.  So, I may be putting the hubs to work to build me one!  So, here’s a post from 2016 about my potting bench that was made from an old door.  It’s part of this week’s Home and Decor Encore.

WELCOME TO HOME AND DECOR ENCORE

This week, Lori from The Stonybrook House has a recipe for Pineapple Sponge Cake (I can’t wait to try this)!  Cristina from RemodelaCasa has a pretty navy and white coastal themed tablescape!  Laura from Duke Manor Farm is sharing how she painted stairs!   And, Christy from Our Southern Home updated a piece of needlework art that she found at a thrift store.  To view each post, just click on the BOLD TITLE above each photo!  And, remember to pin from the original blog post and not the photos on this page!   But, feel free to PIN the image above that includes all of today’s Summer at Home Posts!
