How to Make an Aged Mirror from a Glass Frame

My inspiration for this project was an Anthropologie etched mirror for over $5000!!! Today, I’m sharing my DIY aged mirror version for much less!

I love to search for inspiration from websites and catalogs that carry unique decor items. And, Anthropologie is a favorite of mine! It’s also a great way to keep on track of decor trends, even if they aren’t my style! And, sometimes I see something that really inspires me. That’s the case with this DIY version of an aged mirror that I saw there.

And, as I was just browsing the Anthro website today, I saw some newer versions of this aged mirror look. You can see them on the Anthropologie website here, here, and here.

This project is one of my earliest blog posts from 2013! But, it’s really a great project that is affordable and can be adapted. I no longer have this mirror that I made many years ago, but I am actually thinking of making another one (or more). I really liked the finished look, and I have a new idea for a fresh take on this project for my home this fall! So, I thought I’d share this aged mirror DIY with you today in the hopes that it might inspire you too!
