With Valentine’s Day just a few days away, I was inspired by a few love songs to create this “love sweet love” hot cocoa station for Valentine’s Day.

Love Sweet Love Hot Cocoa Bar
Here’s a look at this Valentine’s Day hot cocoa station and I’ve got all the details for you!
Who remembers Dean Martin singing “Marshmallow World”. I picked up this pedestal chalkboard at a local shop and used a chalk marker to hand letter “It’s a Marshmallow World in the Winter”. Every winter, I make a batch of homemade hot chocolate mix. You can find my recipe HERE.
I used my Silhouette Cameo to create these red vinyl words “Love is Sweet” to dress up some Dollar Tree white mugs. I’ve used these mugs and put them through the dishwasher without any damage to the vinyl letters! If you like to craft and create, a Silhouette Cameo is such a fantastic tool! You can find out more about it HERE.
And, here’s another DIY project for Valentine’s Day that I included in this vignette! These cupid arrows are so easy to make and would be a perfect project for kids too! You can find the tutorial HERE.
I added a few more festive touches to my corner cupboard. You can see how I made this yarn tassel garland in this post!
I love these red miniature tulips any time of year! And, don’t they look so pretty in this vintage silver pitcher!

Yes! No one I know does so I get made fun of...but I'm home. I have time. And I have pretty things and I'm housebound so it keeps me busy in my brain! I never repeat from year to year even though I photo it!!! But it brings me joy and my husband enjoys the touches. I used my Dad's Valentines from the early 1930's in my decor. Did you know all of them had lots of green on them so I propped them against West Elm green bottles that became part of a Valentine display...all because someone gave my Dad elaborate cards when he was young❤️

The pops of red in your dining room look so pretty!! Wonderfully cheery in the dreary winter time too!
