Hi, Friends! Hope your week is going well! As promised, here’s a tutorial to make a feather arrow. I used two of these arrows and crossed them to use in my Valentine’s Day decor. I hope you enjoy making these as much as I did!
Valentine’s Day Cupid Arrow
Supplies for Cupid Arrow
Paint and Glitter
Paint stripes on the wooden dowels. Once dry, cross the dowels and hot glue the center points together. Once the glue is dry, wrap the center crossed point with baker’s twine as shown below.
Cut out an elongated heart shape for the arrow tip. I used corregated paper, but any card stock will work. Paint, if desired, with metallic silver paint and apply glitter.
Trim the end off the craft feather as shown below.
Paint the feathers as shown below. When dry, hot glue each feather to the ends of the painted dowels. Once the glue is dry, wrap the glued area with baker’s twine as shown in the photos below.
These are so super cute! I love anything with feathers, so I think you've totally inspired me. Thanks for sharing!
Very cute…and great tutorial! Happy Valentine's Day!
Super cute! Those arrows hit a bulls eye for me!
I love the tassel look and I love what just a little bit of red does to your dining room!
