It’s definitely feeling like fall here in Pennsylvania! It seems like overnight we went from summer to fall weather. And, I’ve brought out my cozy, cold weather wardrobe! A few years ago I created an acorn necklace to sell in my Etsy shop and you all loved it! I didn’t bring it back last fall because I was just too busy with my son’s October wedding. But, I’ve decided to bring it back to my shop this year along with a new mushroom necklace!
The Acorn Necklace
First, if you’re a newer follower, this is the acorn necklace. It is brass with an oxidized finish. The necklace chain is 18″ with a lobster claw clasp. I’ve worn my original necklace now for three seasons and it still looks brand new. It’s the perfect little necklace for fall!
The necklace itself comes in a square, cotton filled gift box with the printed necklace card as shown above. I’ve also created an oak leaf tag if you want to use this as a gift. The gift box will be tied with dark brown twine and the oak leaf tag.
The Mushroom Necklace
This is the piece that is new this year. And, I really love how it turned out! The mushroom charms are 16K matte gold plated over brass. And, the 17.5″ dainty chain is also 16K gold with a lobster claw clasp. Neither should tarnish with proper care.
The mushroom necklace also comes in a square, cotton filled gift box with a printed necklace card as shown in the photo above. And, the included gift tag is also a sweet, green-capped mushroom! The gift box will be tied with olive green twine and the mushroom tag.
Necklaces with a Message
I really wanted these necklaces to have meaning. The acorn necklace card has the message: The Acorn: “a symbol of strength” and the corresponding scripture verse from Proverbs 31:25.
The mushroom’s sentiment is “never stop growing” with corresponding scripture from Colossians 2:6-7. If you look at the above photo, you may notice the mistake I made! I left off the 2 in Colossians 2:6 – 7, so the necklace card shown reads Colossians 6 – 7. Can you believe I did this to 50 cards!!! But, no worries! The error has been corrected now. I just didn’t have time to retake my photos for today’s post.
As I mentioned above, I love to wear the acorn necklace this time of year. And, now I have a new fall accessory with the tiny mushroom necklace. Both are dainty and could be layered with other necklaces/chains. And, I think either one would be a great gift, especially this time of year.

If you purchase multiple necklaces, you will only be charged an additional $1 per necklace instead of the normal shipping fee. I have 50 mushroom necklaces and 30 acorn necklaces available.
