Can I say how thankful I am that Pennsylvania is now fully open so I can visit the antique and thrift stores once again! I love to search for unique vintage or antique pieces for my home decor. And, I’ve really missed it! Today, I’m sharing a vintage find from several years ago: pretty green glass bottles with a rounded bottom called torpedo bottles. With the rounded bottoms, you can’t sit them on a surface to use as a vase, so I made them into hanging vases. My original post about repurposing these torpedo bottles is from 2016! I’m re-sharing it for this week’s Home & Decor Encore!
WELCOME TO HOME & DECOR ENCORE
This week there is such a great variety of summertime posts! Lori from The Stonybrook House is showing us how she built her raised garden beds! And, Cristina from RemodelaCasa has a DIY pillow that you would never know was made from old jeans!!! Laura from Duke Manor Farm has a yummy summer apple cobbler recipe that is perfect for summer picnics! And, Christy from Our Southern Home is showing how easy it is to put together a summer lemonade station. To view each post, just click on the BOLD TITLE above each photo! And, remember to pin from the original blog post and not the photos on this page! But, feel free to PIN the image above that includes all of today’s Summer at Home Posts!

Your trio of beautiful light blue bottles holding lovely florals is awesome! The way the light plays on it - so pretty and so clever.
I am so glad I found you. You are one talented crafting artist!!!!!
Have a blessed, happy and healthy weekend.

Hi Doreen, I am new to Hymns and Verses and I’m enjoying it. Love the pretty bottles hanging in your window. Looking forward to being a long time friend and picking up some good tips and home decorating projects. I live in the Savannah, Georgia area so it’s full blown summertime with air conditioners running round the clock ⏰. Remember me with sole cooling recipes and drinks 🍷.
