Hi, Friends!  I’m so excited to be here today for the “Home for Christmas” blog hop hosted by http://www.hometalk.com/  and http://www.countryliving.com/.    At the end of my post you will find lots of links to other bloggers participating in this blog hop!

So, you know how I love to decorate out on my screen porch.  The last two Christmas seasons, I’ve decorated the porch pretty much the same – due to my home being photographed for Country Sampler.  I totally loved it that way too – with the red tricycle and wagon.

But, three years in a row is too much!    So, when I spotted this little vintage cooler at one of my favorite haunts a few weeks ago, I knew exactly what I was going to use it for!  By the way, it was only $3!

Vagabond Vintage Cooler

How cute is this cooler!    Sitting atop a birch stump makes it perfect for dispensing hot cocoa.  Then I added  all the essentials for making s’mores.

Outdoor S'more Stand

I filled my vintage Coke crate with marshmallows in a vintage jar, Hershey’s chocolate bars, and graham crackers.  A cute  Scotch plaid lunchbox holds some simple white mugs for the hot cocoa.  I  used my vintage, child-sized sled to hold the cooler, a little Christmas tree with twinkling lights, and some pinecones.  Long roasting forks are ready to take out to the fire.

Vintage Cooler Smore Bar

And, here’s the entire look!  Cozy winter pillows and throw make the space comfy and a fun vintage-style lantern is ready to lead the way to the fire pit.

And, of course, we had to try it out last night!  That fire felt good on a cold winter night!  Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you’ll visit some of my fellow bloggers who are also participating in this blog hop!  And, tomorrow is the big day – my 2015 Christmas Home Tour!

Perfect!! I love that you drew out the blue color of the thermos and tabletop–a favorite color of mine. And I saw the fire last night:) Now I know what was up! A fantastic screen porch, Doreen!

    Doreen,
I also want to say that I LOVE the font of the words: Hymns and Verses. Is that new? Or have I just not been observant?

Ohhhh my gosh… I just found the North Pole. Your staging is amazing! These features seriously need magazine coverage pronto. I love your vintage touches and the rope on the tree so much. And that beverage station just needs to come home with me… LOL

I am loving your outdoor Christmas decor. It’s so beautiful and I would have never thought to using jute rope as a garland. Lovely!
