Happy Friday! I’m here today to share how I styled my antique corner cabinet for spring and Easter. I didn’t use much of my Easter decor in my Spring Home Tour earlier this week, so I thought I’d style the corner cabinet with some of my favorite pieces! If you missed my Spring Home Tour, you can see it HERE!
If you are a regular follower here, you know that I’m always changing things up! When I opened my corner cabinet a few days ago, I decided to remove the wallpaper I had placed on the interior walls of the cabinet. It just seemed too busy. I had painted the interior black prior to adding the wallpaper, so that’s the look for now! Can you believe I’m thinking about taking it back to the original interior color that you’ll see in the photos below! But, this post is about styling the cabinet for Easter and Spring, so here are a few more details.

My very favorite piece of Easter decor is one you’ve seen time and again here on the blog – the Pottery Barn Large Pierced Ceramic Egg! I’ve had this egg for years and I still love it, and apparently so does Pottery Barn because they still carry it and it’s currently on sale!
I didn’t go overboard with the Easter items, but another favorite is this antique-look chick mold. I picked it up at a local shop last year and I love how it pares with the antique silver in the milk pitcher. Other favorites to create a spring or Easter vignette are bird nests and tulips. Below I’m going to show the same antique corner cabinet styled for spring three different ways from years’ past.
This photo is from my 2017 Spring Home Tour. It’s really one of my favorite Spring tours! It’s light and bright with the cottage style that I love! In this photo, you can see the interior color before I painted it black. What do you think? Please tell me in the comments which you like better!
This photo was taken in 2016 when I shared the Costco lavender topiaries in the dining room. This was when we had the lighter flooring.
And, this photo was from my 2016 Spring Home Tour! I think Easter was early that year since I have the cabinet styled for Spring in two ways. It’s fun to decorate a china cabinet or hutch seasonally with dishes, cake stands, flowers and plants, and more! I try to mix it up each time to get a different look! This year is definitely more of a minimal look, which is how I’m trying to decorate more and more. But, it’s really hard for me! I don’t know if I will ever be a decor minimalist.
Thanks for stopping by to spend a bit of your Friday here! Let me know which spring styled corner cabinet is your favorite in the comments! And, should I take the interior back to the original neutral color? I love to hear your thoughts! Have a great Spring weekend!

While I enjoy all of the options, the black is my favorite. It seems to anchor things as it pulls the eye around to each item of visual interest. Stunning, really.

Doreen, I love the contrast of the white and silver pieces against the dark backdrop, it is a very dramatic contrast and quite striking! You have such a good eye for styling shelves; that is one area where I really struggle. Thank you for the Easter inspiration! Your corner cabinet looks lovely!

Doreen, Gorgeously styled antique corner cabinet for Spring! I l o v e the black background with each vignette created on each shelf! I can see a change coming. (Had you thought of the same blue that is in the cabinet near the hutch?) Truly, inspiring Spring decor! Pat

It is all so lovely. I especially love the blue gray sideboard/dresser.

I love the look of the blue interior- I think it shows off your light/white accessories. And since I just painted the interior of a cabinet blue, I know its not as easy as it looks!
