Fall is my favorite season and my favorite spot to decorate for fall is my screen porch! This year I decided to use shades of autumn green in my porch decor.
Today I’m joining some of my blogging friends for a Fall Ideas Tour hosted by Angie from Postcards from the Ridge. Each day this week featured a different topic to give you some fall ideas for your own home. You can see the full schedule with links at the end of today’s post. If you are here visiting from House of Hawthornes, Welcome! Now, let’s take a look at my autumn green porch decor.
AUTUMN GREEN ACORN SQUASH, HUBBARD SQUASH AND GOURDS
These deep green acorn squash look like green mini pumpkins!!! I used them last year on my Fall mantel. You can see it HERE.
This year, I decided to use them here on the porch mixed with some white baby boo’s and mini green gourds. And, how about that Hubbard Squash! Another beautiful shade of green!
I had to bring out my DIY Black Cat Pillow! You can see how to make your own HERE.
I love how this corner turned out!
My favorite part is the antique grocery scale with that huge white pumpkin!
I’ve had this scale in my garage now for a few years. I purchased it thinking that I would try to restore it. Well, that hasn’t happened! It’s really BIG and really HEAVY. And, my husband would like to see it GONE! But, doesn’t it look amazing with that pumpkin and some branches!
And, let’s talk about the pumpkin! If you can’t find a huge white pumpkin, buy a huge orange pumpkin and paint it white!
At Christmastime I like to visit our municipal yard waste facility to pick up some free greens. I wanted some branches for the porch, but we don’t have any trees that have pretty leaves in our yard. So, I decided go there to see what I could find. I found some great branches, and I also got these dried hydrangeas that someone threw away! Well, I scooped them up and brought them home! Another pretty autumn green!
Thanks for stopping by to see my fall porch decor! If you’d like to see how I’ve decorated my porch in previous years, click HERE.

Green is my favorite color and fall is my favorite season so I am loving your porch decor. Of course I am also smitten by the vintage eye candy. That scale is amazing and decorated perfectly for fall! Are you going to use it for Christmas too? I have some old heavy pieces that my husband complains about, but I just can't part with them!

Your porch is so inviting! I love all the vintage touches -- that scale! And can we talk about those beautiful gourds, squash and pumpkins? The colors are beautiful and they're ginormous!
