Happy New Year’s Eve!  It’s a day of reflection of all that was 2018!  2018 was a busy year here on the blog and today I wanted to highlight the top 12 posts from the year!  So, here is the Best of 2018!

 1. My Favorite Things Printable Sign and DIY Frame.  If you’ve followed me for a while, you know that I always think about the song, “My Favorite Things” from The Sound of Music this time of year!  Especially the phrase, Silver White Winters that Melt into Spring!  I created a printable that can be enlarged as an engineering print and showed you how to make a DIY frame for it in this post!

2. My Space Saver Craft Closet has given me so much extra storage in my small office!  I can store so much and because it hangs inside my craft closet doors, it doesn’t take up any additional space in my office!  I shared the “how to” in this post!

3. Reupholstered French Sofa.  I did my very first reupholstery work in 2018 with this Craigslist French sofa.  It was a big job, but I was so pleased with the outcome!  I shared some of what I learned in the process in this post and a before and after, of course!

4. Butterfly Collection.  I branched out a bit in what I sell in my Etsy shop by creating a collection of products based on this pretty green butterfly image.  You all seemed to like it and I’ll be doing more of this type of product line in 2019!

5. French Mattress Ottoman.  I am always inspired by the furniture at Restoration Hardware, but just can’t afford to pay the $$$$ pricetag!  So, I used an ottoman that I loved and made my own version.  You can see the tutorial and the inspiration ottoman in this post.

6. Visit to Magnolia Market and the Silos.  This was for sure a highlight of my year!  I actually have three posts covering my trip:  The Silos at Magnolia Market, Magnolia Table, and what to see in Waco, Texas.  You can find all of those posts by visiting this one.

7. My Tips for Growing Peonies.  This, for sure, was my most popular post of all!  And, I was so surprised by that!  I think there has been a resurgence of gardening and growing, and I definitely want to share more gardening posts in 2019!

8. Summertime Screen Porch.  My screen porch is always a favorite here and my Summertime – and the Liv ‘in is Easy was definitely a favorite with lots of red and white and vintage finds.

9. Penmanship Handwriting Wall Chart.  This printable is probably my all time favorite that I’ve created.  I still have mine hanging in my office!   In this post I shared the printable and how to make it into a wall chart.

10. Apple Picking Tablescape.  This was one of the favorite decor posts for the year!   The apple and branches centerpiece is one that is so easily replicated!

11. Fall Home Tour.  My home tours are always favorites here on the blog, but my Fall tour in particular was a hit with you all!  The shades of green mixed with black and white is a bit unexpected for a fall color scheme and that may be why it was a favorite!

12. Black, White and Burgundy Christmas Home Tour.  The Christmas home tour is the most favorite of all the tours and is, for sure, my favorite to decorate for!

Well, friends, 2018 is in the books and we’re moving into the new year – 2019!!!  I’m looking forward to all that the New Year brings and pray that you all will have a blessed New Year!  Be safe tonight!!!
