This year’s Independence Day celebration will probably look a little different than most years. Even if we aren’t gathering in large groups, we can still celebrate our country’s independence! I typically don’t do a lot of decorating for July 4th, but several years ago Mark and I made a wood American flag that was inspired by one I had seen in the Pottery Barn catalog! The flag had quilt squares in the area where the stars would be on the flag. We still have this wood American flag that we made back in 2016 and it’s hanging in our downstairs family room. I thought today would be the perfect time to re-share the tutorial to make this flag quilt! It’s my submission for this week’s Home and Decor Encore!
