Easy Fall Outdoor Decor

I don’t do this every year, but something about that cornfield as a backdrop made me want to add a little bit of fall here and there to our outdoor landscape.  So here’s a little fall outdoor decor at my home this year!

Fall Garden Shed with Cornshocks, Pumpkins and Mums

A few  corn shocks, rust colored mums, and pumpkins dress up the front of our shed.  I get a lot of questions about the color of our shed shutters and window boxes – it’s Benjamin Moore Mill Springs Blue and is the same color as our front door.

We trimmed our ornamental cherry trees a few weeks ago and I grabbed a few of the branches to add to the pumpkins on the potting bench.

I love the contrast of the orange pumpkins against the aqua of the potting bench.

Taking a cue from my corn husk wreath, I decided to keep the front porch in more neutral fall colors.

A huge ornamental cabbage and some pumpkins and gourds fill this chippy little wagon.  Speaking of chippy, how about this old cabinet door.  I pulled it out of the garage last minute to balance out the display.  I picked up the indian corn wreath is from a local farm stand.  This winter I’ll hang it from the branch of one of the trees in the backyard for the birds to enjoy!

On the other side of the door is the old ladder that used to hang in our bathroom. I brought it outside and hung a basket filled with corn stalks.

I love the variety of the pumpkins and gourds I saw this year!  The striped pumpkin is a favorite!   And, I had to share our little black cat, Jet, having a cat nap on the potting bench!
