Orange Cream Fruit Salad Recipe

May 7, 2015 by Hymns and Verses 8 Comments

I don’t post a lot of recipes here, but decided that since we are entering the season of the 3 P’s –
Parties
Potlucks
&
Picnics
that I would share some of my go-to recipes for these summertime events!  They are simple, quick, and taste delicious!   Today I’m sharing a fruit salad that my boys loved when they were young!  What makes it special is the creamy citrus sauce!

Fruit Salad with Citrus Cream Sauce

Yesterday, Caleb texted me and asked for the recipe so he could make this to take to his work’s spring potluck picnic.  I told him where to find the recipe (since I wasn’t home).  Later that evening, he told me that he was shocked to see someone else’s name on the recipe card – he thought it was MY original recipe – Mom’s fruit salad!  But, isn’t that how it is with a good recipe – we taste it, love it, tweak it a bit to make it our own, and then pass it on.

So today – I’m passing on Caleb’s Mom’s Fruit Salad – or Orange Cream Fruit Salad!  I hope you give it a try!

With an electric mixer – sorry it was confusing. I'll make a change to make that more clear. Thanks for pointing it out to me.
