30+ Ways to Give Back in November

Wow – I really can’t believe it’s November 1!  November is going to be busy and you’ll be hearing a lot more from me this month!  Yes, I’m gearing up for Christmas, but let’s not forget about Thanksgiving!  This year I really want to focus my attention in November to giving back!  We all have so much to be thankful for, but do we get busy and forget about the giving part in Thanksgiving?  I’m talking to myself here!!!

So, today I am going to be sharing 30+ simple ways to give back in November!  Some can be done literally spur of the moment, while others may take a bit of planning.  But, nothing that is overly complicated to do – because we’re all really busy this month!!!  So, let’s do this together!  Let’s make November a month of Thanks and Giving!!!

30+ Ways to Give Back in November

Donate Clothes to a local shelter

Rake your neighbor’s leaves

Send flowers to someone

Bake cookies or a quick bread for your neighbor

Donate food to a food drive for Thanksgiving

Double your waitress’ tip

Deliver a meal to a new mom

Tape a bag of microwave popcorn to a Redbox kiosk

Volunteer at a local hospital or nursing home

Write a letter to someone and mail it

Donate blood

Compliment a parent on how well their child is behaving

Take a welcome basket to a new neighbor

Thank a veteran for their service

Donate books to your local library

Pay someone’s parking meter

Tape a dollar bill to a vending machine

Invite someone to Thanksgiving who may be alone

Let someone go in front of you at checkout

Leave a positive review for a local small business
