As promised, I went out yesterday early evening, and then a little later when it was dark, to takes some photos of downtown Lititz in the snow. The buildings and shops are all decked out for Christmas! I hope you enjoy my walk downtown in the snow!
The Moravian people settled in Lititz as early as the mid 1700’s. The Moravian’s were a pious people who came to the colonies to escape religious persecution. This picture is of the Lititz Moravian Church. The church steeple has a large Moravian star that just glows when lit at night.
There are many quaint shops on Main Street Lititz. The next three pictures are some of my favorite Christmas storefronts.
Aren’t these toy soldiers amazing! I love how they stand guard over this little shopfront!
This shop is one of my favorites and I love the pretty window display and simple pine tree with white lights!
And how about these metal sculptures! Simply amazing! The next few photos are of Lititz Springs Park.
The gazebo looks magical all covered with snow!
The trolley is a fun spot for families to take Christmas photos!
This building ‘s architecture is stunning on any day! It’s just gorgeous with the pretty lights in the trees, candles in the windows, and that entry! I love the lighted garland around the arch with the wreaths on the white doors! Those bright red bows just pop!
Mark and I really had a great time walking around downtown Lititz in the snow. Thanks for coming along!
