Do you decorate for Easter? I used to decorate more for the Easter holiday when my boys were young. And, now that I have two granddaughters, I’m trying to add some more whimsical elements back into my Easter decorating! So this year, I’m using this fun leaping bunny banner with the words from Here Comes Peter Cottontail – “Hippity Hoppity Easter’s On Its Way” !
HIPPITY HOPPITY EASTER’S ON ITS WAY!
This bunny banner is so easy to put together! You can find the printable templates for the banner in my Free Printable Library! Just download the templates and print them from your home printer on 8.5″ x 11″ paper. Then, use scissors to cut out the leaping bunny shapes.
I would definitely suggest using card stock for this banner to make it more sturdy! In the photo above, I printed it on varying shades of pink card stock. And, in the photo below, I used light gray card stock. It would really be fun to use a different color card stock for each bunny shape/word!
Even though it’s not necessary, the pom pom bunny tails are so adorable! Just use some glue to attach them to the tail. And, if you don’t have any pom poms, you could use cotton balls! Use a standard hole punch to punch the holes where marked and string with Baker’s twine, thin jute twine, DMC floss, thin yarn or ribbon for hanging.
This year I used this sweet bunny banner in the nursery! I love how it looks at the top of the book shelf with the Easter eggs! But, in past years I’ve used this banner in my dining room hanging from the corner cabinet and in the living room hanging from the mantel. I hope you can find a spot to use this Hippity Hoppity Easter’s on its Way leaping bunny banner in your home this Easter!

Loving, pinning and sharing!
How adorable! Looks fantastic on your hutch all dressed up for Easter.
How simple and beautiful! I "hopped" over from, A Haven for Vee, and I'm so glad I did, what a beautiful blog, with such fun ideas!
Hi! This is adorable, just thought I’d mention that it should be “its” instead of “it’s” which is a contraction for “it is”.
Thanks so much for pointing that out, Roseanna! My mother was an English teacher and I certainly know better! Must have been tired! I’ll be fixing it!
Love this cute banner! Thank you so much for sharing. I also love your Wedgwood china pattern! I started collecting that pattern on my 30th birthday!
Your “hoppity” .pdf is a copy of the “hippity” .pdf; just letting you know.
