Can you believe Easter is just 12 days away? I’ve been working on my menu and tablescape and will be sharing that soon. Today, I’m sharing possibly ‘the cutest’ little pillow ever! A bunny tail pillow cover! Not only does it score high on the cuteness scale, but it’s also a 30 minute or less project that is, wait for it . . . No Sew! I wish I could take credit for this idea, but I actually saw THIS bunny tail pillow at JoAnn Fabric earlier this spring, but – of course – didn’t get it when I first spotted it. I thought it was a little pricy at $29.99. A few weeks later there was a sale and I went back to the store, but they were sold out! So, I decided to just make my own, because I knew it would be super easy! I made one using a light gray pillow cover with a white pom pom tail and another with a pink pillow cover with a gray pom pom tail.

No Sew Bunny Tail Pillow Cover Supplies
20″ x 20″ pillow cover – $5.99
I purchase my ready-made pillow covers from H&M Home. They are well made and the fabric is a cotton canvas with a zip closure.
20″ x 20″ pillow form – $9.99
a nice, duck feather fill pillow cover from H & M
I purchased mine at Staples and it’s a faux fur. I liked it because it was a large, 4 inch fur pom pom.
Okay, lets get started! Plug in your glue gun. Cut the keychain hardware off the pom pom – don’t cut off the elastic that holds the keychain to the pom pom.
Separate the cut elastic pieces on your “bunny tail” and apply hot glue to each side. Be generous with the glue, since we aren’t sewing, you want the tail to be secure! Press the hot glued tail to the center bottom of your empty pillow cover. Continue to hold in place until the hot glue has cooled (just to insure a good adhesion).
Done!!! You really can’t get any easier than that! If you have littles that may pull on the bunny tail, then you may want to hand stitch the tail to the pillow cover. Otherwise, the tail should stay on season to season. And, what a fun Easter statement pillow for your home! These cute pillows could also be a great Easter hostess gift. I’ve made one to tuck into my sweet daughter-in-law’s Easter basket. I’ll leave the pillow cover off and just give her the form separately. I also think this little pillow would be an adorable addition to a little girl’s room or nursery!
So, who is gonna make one of these sweet “bunny tail” pillow covers? I’d love you to share a photo of yours with me via email, and I’ll post them on my Hymns & Verses Instagram and Facebook pages for my friends to see! Have a fun crafternoon!

Ohhh!!! You are so resourceful!!! That you found the keychain!! East coast is such a better place for shopping. All of the massive LA area has two iKEAs. The vast Central Valley with its millions has none. We have no Staples in my city of over a half million. No H&M period. Gasp!!! Improvise!!!! Copy you!!! PomPom from yarn. Look at your archives!!!! Oh my!!! Can I do this by Easter😅🌷

Another 😮!!! I scrolled down to looking for something. Typed in pompoms made with yarn. It directed me to your 2014 Home Christmas tour which easily had the link to making a pompom!!!! This is the best feature!!!! Let the world know😵
