Transition Decor from Winter to Spring

This past week we had a day that was in the 60’s and it was just divine!!! Today, we’re having an icy day with icicles dripping from tree branches! If you have spring fever like I do and are anxious to decorate for the warmer season, today’s post is for you! Today, I am bringing back a post from 2019 where I share how I subtly transition decor from winter to spring.

This is the time when I store away all of the wintery decor like pinecones or faux pine branches, heavy blankets, and faux fur. And, then bring out lighter textures , fresh or faux greens and even some early spring blooms. If you aren’t ready for bunnies, chicks, or eggs you can wait a bit to bring out those things! Magazines, instagram, and blogs are definitely beginning to bring out some of those things, but remember that it’s just inspiration! This year Easter isn’t until April 17.

It’s okay to slowly transition decor in your home from one season to the next! Just a few changes can make such a difference!

WELCOME TO HOME AND DECOR ENCORE

In addition to my post, there are more great ideas shared by my friends this week! Lori from The Stonybrook House is showing a powder room before and after! Cristina from RemodelaCasa is sharing how to update your kitchen cabinets by adding molding. Christy from Our Southern Home has a yummy looking recipe! And, Marty from A Stroll Thru Life is showing off her spring office (girl cave)! Check out each one by clicking on the BOLD TITLE above each photo below!
