You all know I love to use throw pillows to change the look of my home. Recently, I’ve been busy looking for some fall pillows as we head into the new season! So, I thought I would share some of the great choices that I found online in case you are also looking for some new home decor for your home this fall!

I searched all of my favorite online shopping sources from Pottery Barn to Walmart! This year there are definitely less “traditional” fall pillows to choose from. I found the most at Target. When I say traditional, I mean that they have a distinct reference to Fall; like an embroidered saying or pumpkin shape. And, I would also say that I was looking for more traditional “Fall” color tones. I didn’t find any fall pillows at World Market, West Elm, or Crate and Barrel. And, that really surprised me.
There are a total of 40 fall throw pillows below! I tried to make sure that each one had a zipper closure, but just double check the pillow description to make sure I didn’t let one slip through! I like to buy only pillow covers or a pillow that comes with an insert, but also has a zipper so the cover can be removed. Folding up a pillow cover to store in a drawer versus storing an actual pillow is best for me and my small home!

FALL PILLOWS FOR YOUR HOME
When I look for pillows for the fall season, I’m looking for cozy textures like faux fur, knits, and boucle. And, I look for warm and rich shades that mimic nature like copper, burgundy, deep green, and gold. Deep purple is also great for the fall season. Neutrals are also a great option and blend well with all of the other shades mentioned. I personally love a good seasonal plaid, but didn’t find much to choose from this year.
I also included one sweet pillow for a kids space. The bear pillow shown is from H&M Home and is only $5.99. It also comes in the fox that I used in Daphne’s room last Fall. I’ve already ordered the sweet bear pillow for her room this year! H&M Home is usually one of my go-to places for pillow covers, but I just didn’t find much that I loved there this season.
A definite trend this season is pillows with the look of a Turkish Kilim Rug. There are even some Etsy shops that sell pillows made from real vintage kilim rugs. But, I’ve found them to be fairly expensive for a pillow or pillow cover. I absolutely love this one from Pottery Barn that is also shown above, but will wait until it goes on a major sale!
And, finally, another great source for pillow covers is Ikea. If you live fairly close to Ikea, they have some really nice velvet pillow covers in gorgeous fall shades. You can see Ikea pillow covers here.
If you like this kind of post, let me know! Happy (soon to be) Fall! If you want to see more Fall decor to get ready for the upcoming season, here are a few more posts for you!

Perfect timing! I was just shopping today for a fall themed pillow and did not find anything I really liked, and also did not like the Made In China tags on all of them either. I was going to shop on line tonight...this is perfect! I do like these kinds of posts, by the way!
